A lab centrifuge is a specialized piece of laboratory equipment used to separate components of a liquid mixture based on their density and particle size by utilizing centrifugal force. It works on the principle that when a mixture is spun at high speeds within a centrifuge, the heavier components are pushed towards the outer edges, while the lighter components remain closer to the center.
